MEET THE TEAM
Alana Jackson
MSW RSW
Alana Jackson is a Registered Social Worker with 20 years of experience working with women, children, and their families, including her time at Women and Infants' Health at Mount Sinai Hospital. She's warm, a little funny, and the kind of therapist who will actually tell you what she thinks.
She uses evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness to support women at every stage and brings trauma-informed care to everything she does.
You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone
Alana works with people navigating pregnancy anxiety and depression, postpartum struggles, perimenopause, infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, and the complicated relationship dynamics that can make all of it harder. If you're not sure how to describe what you're going through, that's okay — she's heard a lot, and she's good at helping people find the words.
Where You Can Actually Exhale
Alana's approach builds on what clients already bring to the room: their strengths, their resilience, their knowledge of themselves. Her goal isn't to fix you. It's to help you feel less alone in it, and more capable of moving through it
It Doesn't Have to Feel This Hard
Therapy doesn't have to feel heavy from the first session. With Alana, it usually doesn't.
More About Alana
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me cheering from the sidelines at my kids' sports games and running between practices. To unwind, I take my dogs for walks in the forest and spend summer weekends camping. These quiet moments in nature help me recharge, and they remind me how important it is to find those peaceful spots in our busy lives.
