MEET THE TEAM

Kate Bailey

MSW RSW

Kate Bailey is a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist who helps women navigate trauma, anxiety, and the emotional complexity of the reproductive journey.

She specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), supporting clients through experiences such as birth trauma, infertility, pregnancy loss, NICU stays, medical trauma, and the lingering impact of feeling unheard or dismissed within healthcare systems.

How Kate Works

She understands that motherhood can be both deeply meaningful and profoundly activating. The transition can bring old wounds to the surface, illuminating unresolved trauma, attachment patterns, and parts of yourself that may have been easier to manage before. Whether you are navigating the reproductive journey, adjusting to motherhood, or confronting long-standing patterns of people-pleasing and perfectionism, therapy can offer a space to make sense of what has been stirred up.

Kate integrates EMDR, parts work, nervous system regulation, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients move beyond survival mode and into a greater sense of safety, clarity, and self-trust. Her style is warm, grounded, and collaborative, blending emotional depth with practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.

Kate is currently working toward EMDR Certification and is committed to ongoing advanced training in trauma and reproductive mental health. She provides virtual therapy across Ontario, offering a secure and supportive space where women can slow down, process their experiences, and reconnect with themselves.

More About Kate

When not in the virtual office, Kate is likely leaning into the quiet. You’ll find her deep in a fiction novel, spending as much time as possible in nature, or recharging with her dog & husband. Kate is a big believer in the balance between deep work and lightheartedness; which usually means ending her day with her favorite reality TV.

These moments of grounding and "unplugging" are what allow her to show up fully for the women she supports.
